Central Validation Service for Electronic Signatures (ZeVES)

This free service allows for the automated verification of advanced electronic signatures (FES) and qualified electronic signatures (QES). During verification, the certificate chain is traced back to the issuing root certification authority (Root-CA) and checked against official revocation lists (CRL/OCSP) as well as the daily updated EU Trust List (EUTL). Documents are not permanently stored or further processed after the process is complete. Signatures are verified at the time of verification using state-of-the-art technology and against current lists.
